The capital of Louisiana, Baton Rouge, is eminent for its Oysters, Gumbo, Crawfish, Cajun, and Creole, and everyone is well aware of it. Thus, we won’t talk about them much, but the roads and rides it offers to motorcycle enthusiasts.

Folsom Bogalusa Loop

It’s a quiet and peaceful country road that links three country towns, offering a smooth and seamless ride to bike lovers.

Hit the road in Folsom and turn towards LA-40 east to Bush. After going that was for about 23-mile take a left onto LA-21 north to Bogalusa.

Along the way, plenty of twists and turns paired with the hilly landscape will make the trip a wonderful experience for you.

After covering 15 more miles, head toward the left onto Louisiana Ave and cherish the beautiful scenery till you reach Austin St. From there, take a left once again towards Cumberland St.

During the ride, you can stop at various food points and gas stations to stretch your legs, assuage the tummy, and fill the tank.

Moving ahead, follow the signs for LA-60, followed by LA-16 and LA-437. This whole time you will wish the ride to keep going ceaselessly. However, upon reaching N factory road, take a right on LA-40 to get back to Folsom.

The 55 Mile Cajun Country Loop

A lot of old trees coupled with sugar cane and soybean fields will greet you along the road.

Kick-off from Opelousas, fill the tank from Murphy Gas on Creswell Lane, and head down towards East.

On Highway 31, take a turn into Highway 742 and keep going till you reach highway 190 from where you turn east, followed by another turn south to get on Highway 103.

All the roads are in good condition, and some of them have recently been reconstructed to offer you an enjoyable ride.

From Highway 103, you can go straight on the Church Road, which is considered a shaded and romantic route, taking you to Bayou Teche.

After having some rest, you may let Highway 361 wind you to Arnaudville. Moving ahead, after crossing D’Augereaux road, turn left and get on Highway 354. From Gloria Switch road, take west, there you will find many beautiful places to take a break and cherish nature’s beauty.

The whole route is quite friendly to bikers, making it a memorable ride for them.

Laurel Valley Road

Begin the ride from LA 20 in Thibodaux, hop on Highway 308 South and take a left on to Laurel valley road.

This route will introduce you to the laurel Valley Plantation’s old rustic slave cabins.

Head straight onto the Choctaw road and love the pleasant ride along the way. Next, it will bring you through the swampland and make you experience some of the tight twistiness.

Moving ahead, take a left onto Sanchez road and end the trip at Highway 307.
